Based in New Jersey, Save U.S. Pets Foundation, Inc., will contribute to payment for life-saving veterinary medical treatment costs for qualified pets. We allow participating veterinarians to apply for grants to pay for veterinary treatment of ailing pets after all other options to pay for treatment have been exhausted by the pet owner. The Foundation acts within a structure of specific criteria and guidelines for the pet owner, participating veterinarians as well as the Foundation Board and is structured to act as quickly as possible in emergency situations.
The organization's Grant Committee is the governing body that makes the decisions for grant applications. The Committee includes a Board member, volunteer veterinarians, veterinary technicians and lay people. All funds are distributed directly to the participating veterinarian chosen by the pet owner to treat his or her pet.
